Worksheet, not validated market research. No new pages per idea. Optional import reads an existing public idea; plan edits stay local.

How to use

  1. Start manually, or enter a public Genesis idea slug or URL in the optional importer. Import replaces the plan.
  2. Edit the eight sections; enter your own numbers and measured market sizes with sources.
  3. Export Markdown with original field provenance and recheck historical claims.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free, and is an account required?

Free, no sign-up. Editing and exports run in your browser without an AI model. Usage events contain only the tool name and action. Drafts last while the page is open; download before leaving.

What can I edit?

Problem, customer, market, competition, pricing model, channels, costs and milestones. Blank sections remain unfinished. No revenue or market-size calculations are invented.

Which public fields are imported?

Problem uses case_md; customer uses who_pays.buyer; competition uses existing competitor or incumbent excerpts from scoring_rationale.per_criterion. Missing fields stay empty. All other sections remain for your research.

Is Genesis current market validation?

No. Authored research can contain historical deadlines and assumptions. Original excerpts and field provenance are retained separately from your edited plan.

Does this create an idea page?

No. There is one tool page. Optional import reads the existing curated public Genesis API and sends no plan text to it. No new URLs are created.

Is this a financial model or legal document?

No. It is an editable Markdown worksheet without fabricated projections, investment advice or legal terms. It does not export PDF or Word. Enter actual costs and validate assumptions.
