ToolThrift sits in front of authorized tool servers, serves a compatibility-aware slim manifest, exposes additional tools through explicit discovery and offers compact result views with raw fallback. The supplied research shows at least four open implementations already providing discovery, schema compression, budget enforcement or usage tracking. A large federation gateway is also adjacent. The remaining hypothesis is hosted operation, team governance, persistent per-session state and metered analytics—not an unoccupied mechanism.
