Enterprises running open inference engines need identity, quotas, deployment controls, usage attribution and reliable operations around the runtime. Sourcekeep supplies a managed control plane while the customer retains its chosen compute environment. The supplied research confirms at least four direct competitors already combining gateway, role controls, budgets and audit logs. Those primitives are crowded and cannot support a category-owner claim. The narrower opportunity is managed regional operations with an explicit responsibility matrix, pinned model and runtime artifacts, restore evidence and service-level operations. Hosting GPUs in Europe does not by itself establish sovereignty, compliance or freedom from foreign subprocessors. Per-request cost is an allocation estimate until reconciled with actual compute and provider invoices. A model name is not a reproducible version without weights, tokenizer, runtime, configuration and hash. Identity assertion, route policy, deployment approval, runtime acknowledgement, request record, usage allocation, invoice reconciliation, incident and business outcome remain separate. The product can reduce operational burden and make inference changes traceable. It cannot guarantee model quality, cost savings, residency sufficiency or uptime beyond the signed and evidenced service terms.
