Backing is the vote. When an idea crosses 500, we pull it into the build pipeline and ship it for real — the votes decide what gets built next, not an editor.
The case

Operations teams write procedures in documents while the real process lives across schedules, APIs, staff judgment and automation editors. SOPforge turns an approved procedure into a portable versioned workflow, records each bounded run and proposes changes only from cited failure and outcome evidence. A run log is not proof the business outcome occurred, a model suggestion is not an approved procedure, and no workflow changes itself: tests, human approval, deployment, readback and rollback remain explicit stages.

Who pays — and why

The operations, automation, revenue-operations or internal-platform lead at a small or mid-size team running recurring cross-system procedures.

What it unlocks
Portable versioned operating procedures with explicit deterministic and judgment steps
Queryable run evidence that preserves inputs, decisions, side effects and uncertainty
Improvement proposals tied to evidence, tests, approval, rollout and rollback

9
Asymmetric leverage

A hosted workflow runtime and reusable evidence model scale predominantly through software.

8
Buyer persona

Operations and automation leads have a clear recurring workflow, audit and ownership problem.

5
Why nobody did it

The product gap is clearer than the reason established workflow vendors have not built an approval-gated evidence loop.

Why it scored well

A confirmed emerging SOP-as-code pattern, concrete operations buyer and approval-gated improvement loop create a highly software-leveraged product shape.

What's holding it back

The historical barrier is weakly evidenced, one referenced interface remains unverified, self-modifying workflow claims carry trust and safety risk, the open project is extremely early and incumbent workflow products can move adjacent.
