AgentsAYAML
A developer-oriented runtime and registry for versioned HR and payroll scripts, declarative workflows, test fixtures, approvals, reconciliation, and safe agent-assisted orchestration.
A production open-source project validates the granular-script plus declarative-agent pattern, while general automation products validate low-cost workflow demand. No HR- and payroll-specific library with a managed service was found. AgentsAYAML should adapt the pattern conservatively: agents may propose plans and explanations, while deterministic versioned code handles calculations and connectors under company, jurisdiction, period, and policy controls. Payroll, filings, payments, employee records, and government writes require authenticated human approval, dry runs, exact previews, idempotency, reconciliation, and rollback or correction paths.
The technical founder, internal tools developer, payroll engineer, or operations team at a ten-to-two-hundred-person company integrating existing HR and finance systems.
A March 2026 launch creates a current open-source window.
Developer-led smaller companies have a concrete integration job.
The input has one strong reference and limited connected evidence.
A real production pattern, many reference scripts, a specific developer buyer, and no identified vertical managed library support the concept.
No proposed integration is verified, payroll is jurisdiction-specific and high stakes, community contributions do not automatically create a moat, and general automation tools can expand.
