The case

Brand teams publish short-form video across campaigns, creator partnerships and owned channels, but the places shown in that content are rarely organized as reusable evidence. Captions, speech, signage and visual landmarks can each suggest a location, yet none alone proves where a clip was made or where its audience lives. Cliphook Maps turns authorized content into a private, reviewable place-content corpus.

Every location begins as a candidate tied to a timestamp and source cue. A reviewer can confirm, narrow, reject or redact it, record the rights basis and decide whether it is suitable for a store page, campaign brief or geographic planning export. Content ownership, creator permission, platform terms, sensitive-location handling and local advertising policy are explicit gates.

The product does not infer personal location, build a consumer profile or promise that an advertising platform will accept a radius list. A place shown in a video is not evidence of viewer residence, buyer intent, store visitation or campaign impact. The wedge is evidence discipline: make approved brand content searchable by place while preserving uncertainty and rights.

8
Buyer persona

Brand and growth teams with recurring short-form content form a specific operating persona.

8
Why nobody did it

Improving multimodal video indexing makes cited location-candidate extraction practical now.

5
Convergence

The source records two cross-references, two inbound connections and one direct connection.

Why it scored well

The source confirms a specific brand-marketing buyer, an adjacent consumer map behavior, available multimodal video infrastructure and no reviewed business product joining authorized video evidence to geographic planning.

What's holding it back

Exact location accuracy is unproven, content and creator rights vary, advertising-platform import behavior is not established, processing costs can be material and the source does not prove campaign lift or self-serve economics.
