Chargeproof
A transaction-time evidence layer that binds delegated policy, displayed terms, agent request and merchant readbacks into a reviewable dispute package.
Autonomous buyers can place orders under delegated spending policies while current disputes still rely on human-cardholder evidence. The supplied research confirms live agent-payment rails, an agent wallet product and dispute vendors discussing the problem, but no reviewed product captures the full authorization chain at transaction time.
Chargeproof records the principal's approved delegation, agent identity evidence, applicable spending policy, merchant offer, displayed terms, purchase request and provider acknowledgments. It does not decide whether the principal had legal capacity, whether the cardholder authorized the transaction or whether a network will accept the evidence.
Delegation, agent proposal, human approval where required, merchant order, payment authorization, capture, fulfillment, delivery, dispute, representment, network decision and settlement remain separate. A signed package proves integrity under the recorded scheme, not validity or recovery.
The first release should use sandbox purchases and mock disputes. It excludes live card data, autonomous representment, legal conclusions, fraud scoring and recovery guarantees.
Merchant risk, payments or customer-operations leader accepting purchases initiated by delegated software agents
Capture and assembly scale once merchants and rails expose data.
Evidence can clarify delegation, while merchants can misuse it to contest legitimate consumer disputes.
The record contains two cross-references and one inbound link.
Live agent-payment rails validate the event class, contemporaneous evidence is necessary and package assembly scales.
Authority law and network rules are unsettled, close dispute vendors can extend, the buyer is broad and signed chains can create false assurance.
