The case

Brands and agencies may waste campaign budget when selected creators reach highly overlapping audiences. The research confirms several overlap and network-discovery products, so audience mapping already exists. It did not find a reviewed product using bridge centrality and incremental-reach topology as its primary lens. One vendor claim says duplicated reach can be as high as forty percent; that is marketing evidence, not an independent benchmark.

BridgeScout should separate creator identity and owner-controlled facts, platform and data rights, source date and coverage, aggregation threshold, overlap observation and uncertainty, graph version, bridge metric and definition, campaign audience and constraints, candidate explanation, human review, creator contact permission, selection, contracted terms, disclosure, measured delivery and campaign outcome. A bridge score is not creator quality, identity, audience truth or guaranteed incremental reach.

The product must not scrape against terms, identify individual followers, infer sensitive traits or protected categories, rank people by appearance or worth, build portable reputation, expose private relationships, target vulnerable groups, contact creators automatically or claim proprietary platform knowledge.

Who pays — and why

Brand and agency media, influencer and strategy teams that already manage campaigns but need evidence about audience complementarity before creator selection.

What it unlocks
A source-rights registry with platform, provider, interface or licensed dataset, permitted purpose, fields, aggregation rule, threshold, region, validation date, expiry and owner
A creator record limited to owner-controlled public facts, platform identifiers under terms, content category, declared geography and language, source dates, correction and opt-out where applicable
A versioned overlap graph preserving covered population, sampling method, time window, edge definition, threshold, missingness, bias limits, confidence, freshness and comparability
A campaign review workflow separating audience brief, exclusions, candidate bridge metric, explanation, uncertainty, human selection, creator contact permission, contract and disclosure, measured delivery, deduplicated reach estimate and outcome
How Genesis scored it
5.77across seven criteria
tension 7temporal 5blindspot 5buyer 6leverage 7convergence 5why-not 5
7
Productive tension

Incremental reach optimization must coexist with platform terms, creator rights, aggregate privacy, uncertain coverage and non-discriminatory selection.

7
Asymmetric leverage

A rights-cleared graph layer can scale across campaigns if data remains fresh and comparable.

5
Why nobody did it

The record does not prove which data-access or graph barrier recently changed.

Why it scored well

A clear brand and agency workflow, confirmed overlap tools and a specific bridge-centrality lens make the hypothesis testable.

What's holding it back

Source rights, graph coverage, incremental-reach validity, bias, creator rights, buyer budget and differentiation from existing platforms need validation.
