AgentBond
A commerce write gateway that turns agent mutations into explicit proposals, evaluates merchant policy and inventory or value limits, holds consequential actions for approval, and separates release, provider acknowledgment, authoritative readback, settlement, reversal, and correction.
The research confirms live agentic-commerce protocols, a merchant write-access toggle, and signed receipt specifications, but no reviewed managed write-guardrail product. No structural incumbent copying cost is evidenced.
AgentBond must never tell an agent or user that a held write succeeded. Proposed, held, approved, released, provider-accepted, fulfilled, settled, reversed, failed, and corrected are distinct states. A receipt proves only its signed fields and integrity; it does not prove inventory, price, eligibility, authority, delivery, payment, customer consent, legal validity, or compliance.
Merchant policy governs supported actions and must preserve customer rights, inventory truth, price and promotion rules, refunds, fraud review, payments, taxes, and system-of-record authority. High-risk or irreversible actions require exact human confirmation.
Merchants and commerce-platform teams allowing agents to propose orders, inventory, price, promotion, refund, or fulfillment mutations.
Reusable policy and lifecycle primitives can span supported actions.
Live transaction protocols make the write boundary timely.
Protocols and receipt standards support the direction without a guardrail category.
Live commerce protocols, signed receipts, a specific transaction-path need, deterministic caps, transparent holds, readback, and reversal create a clear wedge.
The buyer is broad; interfaces, payments, inventory, customer consent, fraud, taxes, retries, fulfillment, and reversals are difficult, and platforms can add native gates.
