## FAQ

### Is this free, and do I need an account?

Free, no sign-up. Calculations and analysis run in your browser. SQL and usage inputs are never uploaded to a processing API. Analytics record only the tool and action; public source data comes from the site.

### When were the Supabase prices verified?

Verified 2026-10-09 from Supabase's official pricing page. Third-party rates must be reviewed monthly and before a purchase. This is an estimate, not a Supabase quote.

### How is compute billed?

The calculator uses the published approximate full-month compute prices for one project. Paid plans include a $10 monthly compute credit per organization. Actual compute is billed hourly and varies with runtime. Free uses shared CPU and 500 MB RAM, not the selected paid instance.

### What happens above the Free limits?

Free has no paid overage tier. The result lists exceeded quotas instead of inventing a Free bill for unsupported usage. Consider a paid plan or reduce usage; hardware and support differ between plans.

### Does Pro's spend cap change the estimate?

Paid overage estimates assume the Pro spend cap is disabled. With the default cap enabled, usage may be restricted instead of billed. Review the cap and add-on behavior in your Supabase organization.

### What is included or excluded?

One project, general-purpose database disk, standard MAU, file storage, both egress classes, edge functions and compute are included. Edge overages round up to million-invocation packages. Taxes, realtime, logs, third-party auth, SSO, PITR, custom domains, extra projects and advanced disk settings are excluded.

### Where does the SaaS product price come from?

The existing live catalog service reads the product price from the database. Its update date is shown. The one-time Standard product price and monthly Supabase hosting are separate purchases.
