Meta tag generator. Preview before you publish.

Turn a title, description and optional image into Next.js metadata or classic HTML tags, with Google and social-card previews — free, no sign-up.

Loading the tool…

Static metadata for the Next.js App Router and classic HTML. Previews are approximate, not search or social-platform validation.

How to use

  1. Enter your page title, factual description and absolute canonical URL. Add a public social image URL and site name if available.
  2. Choose Generate metadata. Review the approximate Google snippet and social card, then switch between Next.js and HTML output.
  3. Copy or download the code into your page or layout. Use one canonical URL and test the final published page for inherited metadata and crawler access.

Frequently asked questions

Is this free, and do I need an account?

It is free, no sign-up. Tool processing happens locally in your browser. Inputs and outputs are not uploaded to a processing API. Usage events contain only the tool name and action.

Where do I put the Next.js metadata block?

In an App Router page.tsx or layout.tsx server component. Next.js does not support exporting metadata from a client component. Parent metadata and title templates may affect the final output, so inspect your published page.

Which HTML tags are generated?

A title, meta description, canonical link, Open Graph title, description, type and URL, plus Twitter card, title and description. Image and site-name tags are included when supplied. Attribute values and code strings are escaped.

Is this exactly how Google will show my page?

No. The preview is an approximation. Search engines can rewrite titles and descriptions, and display length depends on text width, device and query. Character counts are editing aids rather than ranking rules.

Does the tool create an Open Graph image?

No. Supply an existing public HTTP(S) image URL. The card starts with an image placeholder; you can explicitly load the image preview in your browser. The tool does not fetch it on the server or upload your image.

Will these tags guarantee ranking or a social card?

No. They describe your page. Crawlers must be able to access the final page and image, and platforms control presentation and caching. Keep metadata consistent with the content and product terms.
