A mid-market logistics operator wants to point an AI agent at their freight operations — to tender a load, post a tracking event, confirm a delivery. The data lives across a TMS, a WMS, an ERP, and a handful of 3PL systems, each with its own schema and its own credentials, and none of them speaks the agent's language. Today that means a bespoke integration project per system before the agent can do anything at all, and the moment the agent needs to WRITE back to a production system, the question of who authorized what — and how you prove it later — has no clean answer.
