The case

Hospitality groups with many properties can accumulate regional calls, pre-shift huddles, training and required reviews without a shared view of labor opportunity cost. Calendar duration and invite counts offer a rough estimate, but they do not prove actual attendance, attention, usefulness or the work each person would otherwise perform.

Huddlescope combines authorized calendar events with approved schedule and labor-cost bands at a property or team level. It preserves event purpose, invitees, scheduled roles, attendance assertion, duration, wage-band source and calculation formula. Raw payroll and individual compensation need not enter the product.

The system produces scenario estimates for cadence, invite scope and property coverage. It does not count who spoke, score employees, rank general managers or attribute property sales and profit to meeting changes. Mandatory franchisor, safety, labor and training requirements remain outside the optimization layer.

A regional operations owner reviews each suggestion and decides whether to test it. Estimated cost, approved cadence change, actual attendance, operational outcome and finance interpretation remain separate.

Who pays — and why

Regional operations, workforce planning or finance leader at a multi-property hospitality group

What it unlocks
A coordination-event register separating property, event purpose, requirement source, schedule, invited role, attendance assertion, duration, cadence and version
A labor-assumption layer separating approved wage band, burden factor, source period, formula, uncertainty, property allocation and reviewer approval
A scenario ledger separating current estimate, invite or cadence scenario, operational owner decision, pilot, attendance observation, service outcome and finance interpretation

Why nobody did it

A confirmed scheduling interface makes property-level labor overlays more feasible.

7
Productive tension

Coordination-cost visibility can reduce waste while person-level interpretation can create surveillance and unsafe staffing pressure.

5
Convergence

The supplied record has one cross-reference and two direct connections.

Why it scored well

The supplied research confirms a general meeting-cost product and a genuine hospitality-specific schedule and multi-property gap.

What's holding it back

The buyer quartet is incomplete, wage and attendance data are sensitive and imperfect, no structural copying cost exists, and self-serve economics are not proven.
