Gravitymark
A GEO agent for marketplace listings that crawls AI shopping answers daily, rewrites Amazon, Etsy, and Shopify listings to surface in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude, writes the changes back through the marketplace APIs, and reports mention-rate week over week.
A shopper used to type a query into Amazon and scroll. Now they ask ChatGPT "what's the best cast-iron skillet under $40" and buy the three it names. If your listing isn't in that answer, you lost the sale before the buyer ever reached the marketplace -- and unlike a search-rank drop, there is no dashboard that tells you it happened. Sellers are being filtered out of a discovery channel they cannot see, cannot measure, and have no tool to influence.
The Amazon or Etsy seller who owns their own listings and revenue -- the operator already paying for listing-optimization tooling and watching organic discovery move to AI answers they can't influence. The marketplace populations are large (2.5M+ active Amazon sellers, 7.5M+ Etsy sellers), though seller size and sophistication vary widely.
A self-serve agent over verified Amazon SP-API and Etsy v3 -- pure software, no operational drag.
AI shopping answers became a discovery channel sellers cannot see or influence; the crawl-to-rewrite-to-write-back loop closes that gap as one mechanism.
Inbound interest plus two confirmed/strong signals, but cross-run references are zero -- kin without an independent echo from another run.
A pure-software self-serve agent over verified marketplace write-back APIs (high leverage), aimed at a discovery channel that just appeared and that sellers genuinely cannot see or influence -- the crawl-to-rewrite-to-write-back loop closes that gap as a single mechanism, against an evidenced budget anchor for the buyer.
Two things pull the score down. Convergence is thin: the idea has inbound interest and two confirmed/strong external signals, but no cross-run echo (other Genesis runs didn't independently arrive here). And the incumbent blindspot is shallow -- a signal confirms no one sits at the marketplace-listing-GEO intersection today, but a natural owner exists (Helium 10, already at $279/mo with listing optimization) with no articulated structural reason it couldn't add the layer.
Genesis doesn't invent in isolation — Gravitymark shares architecture with, or powers, these ideas.
