Dryrunward
A preflight workspace that replays supported workflow steps against controlled fixtures, compares projected writes and messages with policy, and routes a scoped execution grant to an accountable operations owner.
Non-technical operations owners need to understand what an agent may write, send or invoke before granting live authority. Dryrunward compiles a versioned workflow and proposed grant, executes supported steps against controlled fixtures or provider sandboxes, and produces a plain-language report of projected effects, policy violations, unsupported actions and uncertainty. The supplied research found no direct commercial blast-radius-preview product, confirmed one referenced capability and left two unverified. A sandbox mirror cannot reproduce every live permission, data dependency, side effect, race, rate limit or provider behavior. The report is therefore a bounded simulation, not the full blast radius and not a prediction that live execution will match. Approval is not a one-click global promotion: it binds workflow version, tools, tenants, destinations, limits, expiry and reviewer. Simulation result, reviewer approval, live grant, invocation, provider acknowledgement, destination readback, rollback and business outcome remain separate. Success is better-informed, narrower grants and earlier detection of obvious risk—not safe autonomy or guaranteed equivalence between test and production.
An operations, automation or internal-systems owner approving agent workflows that can modify records, send communications or call external services.
Shared policy and reporting scale through software after connector fidelity is proven.
Owners want a simple preview while honest simulation must foreground uncertainty and unsupported effects.
The gap is clearer than the historical barrier.
A clear operations owner, understandable preview metaphor and no direct product found support a focused pilot.
Two capabilities are unverified, simulation fidelity varies by provider and the concept can collapse into a platform feature.
