The case

Building owners and contractors may lack a current register of permanent fall-protection anchors, their manufacturer records, inspection history and applicable requirements. Anchorsweep gives a field crew a controlled way to inventory each anchor, capture location, identifier plate and visible condition and assemble an evidence packet for a qualified person. The input's claim that a new standard automatically invalidates every prior certification on a hard date is too strong and rests on trade reporting rather than the authoritative standard and site-specific adoption. A voluntary consensus standard is not automatically an occupational-safety mandate in every jurisdiction or contract. A photograph or plate match cannot recertify load capacity, installation, substrate or continued suitability. Qualified inspection, testing or engineering review and manufacturer instructions govern disposition. Asset observation, standard applicability candidate, inspector finding, competent or qualified-person disposition, remediation design, owner approval, purchase order, installation acknowledgement and reinspection remain separate. The product can improve inventory completeness and field evidence. It cannot declare compliant or non-compliant anchors, issue certification or automate replacement.

Who pays — and why

A building owner, general contractor or fall-protection service firm commissioning a bounded anchor inventory and qualified inspection project.

What it unlocks
An authority and site contract defining jurisdiction, incorporated standards, owner policy, manufacturer instructions, anchor type, required inspector qualification, inspection method and effective status.
An asset evidence model separating site, location, anchor, plate, manufacturer record, visible observation, test evidence, installation record, prior inspection, uncertainty and correction.
A safety chain from field capture through qualified review, applicability and condition disposition, remediation design, owner approval, exact purchase order, installation acknowledgement and reinspection.
How Genesis scored it
6.21across seven criteria
tension 6temporal 8blindspot 5buyer 8leverage 6convergence 5why-not 5
8
Temporal window

The supplied deadline is strong only if authoritative applicability and adoption are confirmed.

8
Buyer persona

Owners, contractors and inspection firms with permanent-anchor inventories are concrete buyers.

5
Why nobody did it

A standards transition may create inventory urgency, though inspection services already address the domain.

Why it scored well

A concrete project buyer, a supported deadline signal and no reviewed dedicated sweep product make a bounded inventory-and-review service plausible.

What's holding it back

The legal premise is unverified, photo evidence cannot certify anchors, specialist field review dominates delivery and no interface or structural copying barrier is proven.
